Reducers for brass screw connections

 

Description

 

Temperature range:

-60°C up to max. +300°C (with seal: -20°C up to max. +80°C)

 

Recommended raw materials:

Copper, polyamide (with reinforced sleeve)

 

Note:

The brass compression ring screw connections cannot be combined with the cutting ring pipe screw connectors ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353). When using soft copper tube a correction factor of 0.65 must be used (pressure x 0.65). When using polyamide tube the operating pressure of the tube applies.

Application:

With the use of reducers you can use screw connections with different hose diameters, e.g. a 10 mm Ø KG 10 MS straight screw connection can be connected on one side to a 10 mm hose. On the other side you can use a KRED 106 MS reducer to fit a 6 mm hose. In this way you achieve a reduction from 10 mm to 6 mm. The reducers can be used with all brass compression ring fittings.
